Midway Middle School had its annual Media Festival on Feb. 12.  The winning project was a short, animated film created by sixth-graders Carla Barrera, Justin Bellamy and Alexandra Ierulli.  All three are students of Dr. Sharon Wrease, language arts teacher for Team 6-1.  The claymation film, entitled "I Don't Want to Go to School Blues," featured clay figures created by the students as well as an original song composed and sung by the students.  The project will represent Midway Middle at the Liberty County Media Festival on March 5.
