Open house at Armstrong Saturday

SAVANNAH — Armstrong Atlantic State University will host a Pirate Preview open house at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Armstrong Center, 13040 Abercorn St. in Savannah. The event is free and the public is invited.
Faculty, staff and students will be on hand with information about scholarships, financial aid, admission, degrees, student life, and other services and programs offered. Attendees will get acquainted with university life and tour student housing and the scenic campus. A light lunch will be served at the end of the session. The schedule is:
• 10 a.m.: Meet the faculty and attend an AASU student organizations fair
• 11 a.m.: Welcome
• 11:20-11:45 a.m.: Breakout session I (choose one: College of Liberal Arts, College of Health Professions, College of Education, College of Science and Technology, computers on campus, honors)
• 11:50-12:15 a.m.: Breakout session II (choose one: financial aid, honors, student life/housing, ask a student, AASU/Georgia Tech-Savannah dual enrollment program)
• 12:15 p.m.: Campus and residence halls tour
• 1:15 p.m.: Lunch
