Joseph Martin Elementary’s recent “Muffins for Mom” event was a success, JME Principal Sue Tolley said. At 7:15 a.m. Friday, students began to pass through the serving line with their parents, grandparents and guardians. Staff members greeted the families and served juice, coffee and muffins.
School officials say the event was designed to let parents sit with their children and catch up on the day’s events. Parents also mingled with and got to know other parents.
