The Liberty County School System, in conjunction with Reaching Milestones and McDonald’s, will host the second annual Resource Fair for Individuals with Disabilities from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Performing Arts Center in Flemington.

The free event brings together vendors to assist individuals with disabilities, their families and the community. Events include the “Ask the Expert” Lounge, safety classes and entertainment. Free child care will also be provided.

“I hope all the Liberty County School System’s parents as well as community members will take advantage of this tremendous opportunity,” Superintendent Dr. Valya S. Lee said.

“The Liberty County School System is very excited to provide so many resources in one place for individuals with disabilities,” said Mindy Yanzetich, the district’s executive director, of exceptional learning. “Lisa Vaughn, Liberty County’s parent mentor, and Reaching Milestones have partnered to bring this wonderful event.”
