Schools to stage job fair Saturday

The sixth annual Liberty County School System Career Fair will be from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Board of Education, 200 Bradwell St., Hinesville.

Rèsumès will be accepted for classified and certified positions throughout the district for the 2016-17 academic year.

Serving approximately 10,000 students, the system offers up-to-date technology along and professional development for staff.

Applicants for certified positions should bring packets containing rèsumès,  copy of valid teaching certificates or certificate of eligibility and transcripts and test reports.

Administrators representing each of the district’s 12 schools, and Liberty County Pre-K, Liberty College and Career Academy, Horizons, and the Department of Exceptional Learning will be available to meet applicants, accept rèsumès and answer questions.

Applicants for classified positions, including school nutrition, grounds crew, maintenance and custodians, should bring copies of their rèsumès along with any documentation they feel is relevant.

Administrators representing relevant departments will be available to accept rèsumès and answer questions. The district is especially in need of bus drivers. Free CDL training is provided.
