Online forum screen shot
The Liberty County School Systems new online forum can be found at www.liberty.k12.ga.us.

The Liberty County School System last week launched an online forum to give citizens an additional opportunity to help move the school system forward. The web-based forum is designed to provide an additional venue to encourage stakeholders to become engaged in open discussions, ask questions and offer suggestions that are centered on the future of Liberty County Schools.
During the next two weeks Liberty County School Superintendent Dr. Valya Lee and senior LCSS team members will be online, reading suggestions and answering questions that are aimed at improving student achievement. The online forum can be accessed 24 hours a day at the Liberty County Schools System’s main website, www.liberty.k12.ga.us. Participants will be asked to provide their names and email addresses. The forum asks the following questions:
• What are the strengths of the Liberty County School System?
• What are the opportunities for growth for the Liberty County School System?
• What new initiatives would you like to see in the Liberty County School System?
In addition to the online forum, two additional community forums are scheduled for Jan. 16 and April 24. For more information, email John Lyles or Janis Billingsley at jlyles@liberty.k12.ga.us or jbillingsley@liberty.k12.ga.us or call Lyles at 876-2161 or Billingsley at 876-3753.
