Student aid is focus of workshops

SAVANNAH — Savannah Graduates, an initiative focused on creating a more educated workforce in the area, is offering free workshops to assist residents complete the 2016-17 Free Application for Federal Student Aid form.

The FAFSA workshops will be conducted by professionals and held at Armstrong State University and Savannah Technical College campuses.

They include Savannah Tech’s Liberty County Campus, Room 107, 100 Technology Dr., Hinesville:

• March 23, 5:30-6:30 p.m.

• March 24, 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

• March 29, 5:30-6:30 p.m.

• March 30, 2:30-5:30 p.m.

Others will be at Savannah Tech’s White Bluff Road campus Computer Lab, in Savannah:

• Tuesday, 6-7 p.m.

• Wednesday, 10 a.m.-1 p.m.

• March 23, 10 a.m.-1 p.m.

• March 24, 10 a.m.-1 p.m.

• March 29, 10 a.m.-1 p.m.

• March 30, 10 a.m.-1 p.m.

• March 31, 6-7 p.m.

Participants are asked to bring their Social Security number, driver’s license, 2015 W2s, 2015 tax information, untaxed income records, and alien registration or permanent resident card.
