Brandon Standard, of Allenhurst, a senior, was named to the dean’s list of Mercer University’s College of Liberal Arts for the fall 2014 semester. Inclusion on this list requires students to meet grade-point-average standards specific to the college or school within the university.

Frazier recognized as member of SAL group
Ketorah Renee’ Frazier of Hinesville has been recognized as a member of Sigma Alpha Lambda’s National Leadership and Honors Organization at Valdosta State University.
SAL is a national leadership and honors organization dedicated to promoting and rewarding academic achievement and providing members with opportunities for community service and personal development.
Frazier is the daughter of Jesse Frazier Jr. and Patricia (Harris) and Frederick Jones Sr.  

Two from Hinesville make list at Emory
ATLANTA — Hinesville natives Justin Elsey and Justin Stuart were named to the dean’s list of Emory College of Arts and Sciences for the 2014 fall semester. Students must be in the top 20 percent of Emory College or have approximately a 3.850 grade-point average or higher to be named to the list.
