Students getting access to iPads
Program is part of Liberty Learning Experience
Student iPads
Snelson-Golden Middle School teacher Mary Ryan shows eighth-grade physical-science students how to use their new iPads in February 2012, when the Liberty County School System first began to roll out its iPad program.

All Liberty County schools will embark upon the Liberty Learning Experience during the 2014-15 school year.
This program affords fourth through 12th grade student the opportunity to participate in a one-on-one iPad-learning environment. In addition, all students in pre-K through third grade will have iPads available to them in their classrooms. Students in fourth through 12th grades will take their iPads home each day. The rollout of this take-home model will be conducted in phases:
• High-school students will begin taking their iPads home in August.
• Middle-school students will begin taking their iPads home in September.
• Fourth- and fifth-grade students will begin taking their iPads home in late October or early November.
Liberty County schools will host multiple parent technology nights to answer questions and share information about the Liberty Learning Experience.
