Liberty County students and parents attended ArtsFest 2009 Tuesday night at Liberty County High School. The school showcased local student talents in a variety of media. The LCHS Jazz Ensemble kicked off the evening and was followed by other performances including LCHS Flute Choir, chorus, drama presentation, poetry readings and a cosmetology presentation. Family members and visitors also gathered in the media center to browse the visual arts display, which showcased more than 100 pieces of art. Calls to get the names of student winners had not been returned by the Courier’s deadline.
