Walker FBLA attends fall fair

Walker Middle School Future Business Leaders of America traveled to Perry on Oct. 13 to attend a fall motivational rally.
Fifty-one students competed in the areas of FBLA concepts, business spelling, Internet concepts and personal financial concepts. They also participated in T-shirt design, Georgia celebration and display-board competitions.
Walker Middle FBLA officers will travel to Athens on Nov. 10-11 to find out the results from the competitions.
About 7,000 students from across Georgia attended the FBLA rally and listened to motivational speaker Eddie Slowikowski.
During the rally, Walker Middle School FBLA was awarded a certificate for having the third-largest middle school FBLA in the state.
After the rally, FBLA members were given free time to enjoy the Georgia National Fair.
