Forty students from Walker Middle School’s Future Business Leaders of America club traveled to Wayne County High School on Jan. 19 to attend a region leadership conference.
The students competed in various events through online testing and video recordings. They also attended two leadership workshops.
Sixteen WMS students were recognized for placing in the regional events and will advance to the state competition March 1 in Macon.
Walker Middle FBLA also won the middle-level Region 3 overall sweepstakes.
