FPCA remembers 9/11
FPCA 9-11
First Presbyterian Christian Academy 9th grade students deliver letters of appreciation to the local fire department.

This past Patriot Day on September 11, FPCA honored the victims and first responders of the 9/11 terror attacks. Marking the 18th anniversary of the attacks was especially important to FPCA.  No student even has a distant memory of 9/11, as they had not yet been born.  A moment of silence was observed for each of the twin towers that fell, the attack at the Pentagon, and the plane crash in Pennsylvania.  Teachers spoke about where they were when they heard the horrible news, how it affected their lives, how the loss of so many Americans left them heartbroken, and described the bravery, character, and integrity of the first responders. Posters were made and letters were written to local first responders and hand delivered to them, in appreciation of all that they do for our community.
