The public hearing to discuss permitting a sewage treatment plant in the Tradeport East Business Park is set for Tuesday.
The meeting starts at 7 p.m. in the Midway Civic Center when Environmental Protection Division staff will explain details of the permitting process. The Liberty County Development Authority hopes to build the plant to serve businesses in the park and possibly residential areas.
The hearing opens at 8 p.m.
