Established in 2010, the Hinesville Downtown Farmers Market is a thriving outlet for fresh farm and agricultural goods as well as crafts and prepared foods. It has become the Thursday-night-place-to-be in Liberty County, according to Michelle Ricketson, Hinesville Downtown Development Authority director. The open-air, outdoor market kicked off the 2019 season on Thursday with a ribbon cutting. The market is held each Thursday in March through October from 3 to 7 p.m. in Bradwell Park located in historic downtown Hinesville.
Area vendors offer fresh produce, agricultural and farm items, baked goods, specialty foods, flowers and plants, arts and crafts, and prepared foods.
Live music and entertainment performances are often scheduled. Special events will coincide with market activities throughout the season. Non-profit booth space is also available each week.
