Hinesville man killed Sunday in SC crash

A Hinesville man was killed Sunday in a two-car crash in South Carolina.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol on its website reported a 56-year-old Hinesville man was killed in an accident Sunday afternoon, but did not name the victim.

However, multiple media reports say James Spires, 56, was killed in an accident on I-26 in Laurens County about 2:16 p.m.

The accident remains under investigation, but the victim was wearing a seatbelt, according to the SCHP site.
