The Liberty County Chamber of Commerce held a groundbreaking ceremony on June 8 for Jimmy John’s at 110 West General Screven Way in Hinesville.

The sandwich shop, which emphasized speed in service and delivery in its advertising , is building on one of the out-lots of Oglethorpe Square shopping center.

Chamber/CVB CEO Leah Poole welcomed those in attendance and introduced Branko Stropnik, the store owner. Chamber Vice Chairman Kathy Villafane welcomed Stropnik and Jimmy John’s, not only to the community but to the Chamber as a member.

“You will be a great asset to the community and if you need anything please reach out to the Chamber,”  Villafane said. “The Chamber is the source of the source for information and resources in this community.” 

Liberty County Commission Chairman Donald Lovette welcomed Jimmy John’s and said, “We are a growing, progressive community, and we are proud you are coming here. Thank you from the Liberty County Board of Commissioners.”
