The City of Hinesville retained its Great American Cleanup Cup, a result of its winning its friendly competition with the Liberty County Board of Commissioners. 

Dr. Karen Bell, executive director of Keep Liberty Beautiful, presented the cup to Mayor Karl Riles and city council members.
