LCHS students help feed the hungry, hold canned food drive

Liberty County High School Student Council is holding a canned food drive benefitting Manna House and Joseph House in Hinesville. Collection of items goes until 3:10 p.m. Monday, Oct. 29, at Liberty County High School, or from 5:30-7:30 p.m., Monday, Oct. 29, at the Stafford Pavilion, 607 E. Oglethorpe Highway, Hinesville.

The Liberty County Manna House was established in 1992 as a local food and clothing bank, open every day to serve those in need, including low-income families, seniors, unemployed, underemployed and disabled citizens. The Joseph House is a food and clothing pantry run by Live Oak Church of God and is open every Tuesday from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.
