The Liberty County Board of Education voted 7-0 on Tuesday to not renew Superintendent Dr. Valya Lee’s contract when it ends June 30.
School board Chairwoman Lily Baker said the unanimous vote came as a result of a mutual agreement between the BoE and Lee.
