The Liberty County Emergency Management Agency has extended the timeline to turn in donations of supplies for Hurricane Michael victims. Please donate no later than 5 p.m., on Wednesday, Oct. 24.
Hurricane Michael roared through sections of Southwest
Georgia as a strong category two storm leaving a trail of destruction in its
path.
Folks are in need of water, non-perishable foods, flashlights, batteries, tarps, personal hygiene products and youth and adult diapers.
Drop off supplies from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. now through next Wednesday at the Liberty-EMA office at 100 Liberty Street, Hinesville, GA 31313.
Check in with an EMA Director before leaving supplies.
