Qualifying is under way for Liberty County offices and for Georgia’s May 20 primary, with Republicans and Democrats filing their paperwork to appear on the ballot. The general election is Nov. 4. Qualifying began Monday and ends at noon Friday. Candidates must qualify at the Board of Elections and Registration in suite 1600 in the courthouse, 100 S. Main St., Hinesville.
