Leah Poole, Liberty County Chamber of Commerce and Convention and Visitors Bureau CEO, will be a guest speaker at the 3rd Sustainment Brigade’s Women’s Mentorship Network (WMN) International Women’s Day event set for March 8 at Club Stewart on Fort Stewart.

The International Women’s Day event will feature “Keeping it Real,” a representative panel of fierce, fearless women to provide mentorship and guidance to young female military leaders. Speakers will share their own unique experience as tough women in business to motivate, inspire and empower the women of the 3rd Infantry Division’s Sustainment Brigade.

Poole will serve on a panel with two other women leaders from the Savannah-Coastal Georgia region.

“It is truly an honor to be invited to participate in this panel,” said Poole. “These ladies already go above and beyond in their chosen career path, protecting our nation’s freedom, so speaking to them will be both humbling and a distinct joy.”

The event will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. with a lunch to follow at Thunder Run at Club Stewart. The event is open to the public.

The 3rd Sustainment Brigade’s Women’s Mentorship Network seeks to encourage professional mentorship between junior and senior female soldiers in the organization in order to strengthen the bonds between women across the organization, and promote communication on relevant issues.
