Christmas parade set for Dec. 1
christmasparade2017small

The 21st annual Illuminated Christmas Parade: Christmas through the Decades will be Dec. 1.

Hosted by the Liberty County Chamber of Commerce and the Liberty County Convention and Visitors Bureau, the parade will be in downtown Hinesville beginning at 6:30 p.m.

The parade has been held in Hinesville for the past 20 years and showcases businesses, groups and organizations from all over the area. This event has previously attracted over 15,000 spectators and is televised as well as live streamed on WTOC.

Our guest commentators will feature Dawn Baker of WTOC, Leigh Smiley of Coldwell Banker Holtzman Realtors and Pastor Richard Hayes of New Day Community Church. Spectators are welcome to bring their own chairs to sit and enjoy the lights, floats and performances.

The parade route will be the same as last year’s newer route, however, spectators can still sit in their favorite spots from years past and see the parade. If you have an interest in the specific route, be sure to check the Liberty Chamber Facebook page for a map soon.

The Illuminated Christmas Parade would not be possible without our generous sponsors. The chamber would like to thank Walmart Super Center, McDonalds on Highway 84, Liberty Chrysler Dodge Jeep and the Hinesville Downtown Development Authority.

For more information about the parade, please contact the chamber at 368-4445 or visit the website at www.libertycounty.org/2017-christmas-events/.
