Crash kills Jesup man

A Jesup man was killed in a one-vehicle wreck early Thursday in Walthourville, according to Georgia State Patrol Trooper Thornell King.

King identified the victim as Nicholas Doubclark.

According to King, Doubclark was driving a 1997 pickup at about 2:15 a.m.

Walthourville Police Chief Tracy McFadden said Doubclark was driving on Talmadge Road near Walthourville Cemetery Church when his truck overturned, ejecting Doubclark. He was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency medical personnel.
