The Liberty County Democratic Party will have its annual awards banquet Saturday, May 3, at the Liberty County Performing Arts Center, 2140 E. Oglethorpe Highway in Flemington. Social time begins at 6:30 p.m., and the program starts at 7. The keynote speaker is Rashad Richey of CBS Radio WAOK in Atlanta.
This year’s honorees are:
• Sen. Rene’ Kemp Public Service Award — Luciria Luckey Lovette
• Sen. Glenn Bryant Community Service Award — Dr. Seth Borquaye
• Hall of Fame inductee — Beverly Coffer
