The Georgia State Patrol is investigating a fatal accident on interstate 95 at mile marker 74 northbound.

Georgia State Patrol Trooper Markus White said authorities were notified around 6:20 a.m. Tuesday of a tractor trailer running off the road into the wood line. 

White said the driver of the vehicle was found dead. The driver has now been identified as Roosevelt Jones, 49 of Jacksonville, Fla.

The accident is under investigation according to GSP Trooper Markus White. More too follow as it becomes available.
