Hinesville is joining Liberty County in ordering its residents to leave Saturday due to Hurricane Irma. 

Here's the press release from Hinesville PR Manager Brittany Denny:

The mayor and Council of the City of Hinesville have issued a mandatory evacuation for the City of Hinesville effective Saturday, Sept. 9, 2017 at 8 a.m.

 They urge all citizens to abide by the evacuation order and to remain vigilant in their monitoring of the storm.
