Hinesville mayor to give State of the City at April luncheon

Hinesville Mayor Allen Brown will be the guest speaker at the next Progress Through People Luncheon, set for noon April 26 at the Liberty County Performing Arts Center at 2140 E. Oglethorpe Highway in Flemming.

Brown will give a state of the city address that will focus on Hinesville’s current and future fiscal outlook and opportunities for growth.

The luncheon is hosted by the Liberty County Chamber of Commerce and sponsored by ESG Operations Inc.

The luncheon will take place during Georgia Cities Week, which will be held from April 22-28. Georgia Cities Week celebrates community achievements, recognizes volunteers, city employees and encourages cities to educate citizens about the services they offer that improves quality of life.

The cost to attend is $15 for chamber members and $20 for non-members. RSVP by April 23 by calling 912-368-4445 or emailing operations@libertycounty.org.
