The Hinesville Police Department is investigating a possible threat aimed at Bradwell Institute. According to HPD there was an allegation of a potential threat to student safety at Bradwell Institute posted on social media.

HPD was alerted to the threat near dismissal time at school. Investigators were swift in response to determine its credibility.

Police were able to identify the student who allegedly made the threat. HPD then notified the student’s family.

HPD reported that the student was not at school and no immediate threats existed to the safety of the students or staff at Bradwell Institute.

HPD said the matter remains under investigation.
