WASHINGTON, D.C. — Congressman Jack Kingston, R-Ga., announced Monday that he will host a town hall meeting in Bryan County to give area residents a forum to share their views on what’s happening in Washington.

"If there’s anything I learned in Washington it’s that the city doesn’t have the franchise on good ideas," Kingston said. "That’s why I’m looking forward to seeing everyone on Saturday and hope everyone brings their best ideas to the issues we face.

"From jumpstarting the economy and creating jobs to health care, spending, and harbor deepening, we’ve got a lot on our plate as a state and a country. I encourage everyone to attend," he said.

The meeting will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Bryan County High School in Pembroke.
