After dropping their first region game 15-0 at home, the Bradwell Lady Tigers ended up falling in the next two games against Richmond Hill.
On Tuesday, Bradwell was in Bryan County where the Lady Wildcats won 12-0 in four innings. Then on Wednesday, Bradwell again hosted the Lady Wildcats in a short game and fell 20-0.
In Tuesday’s game, the Wildcats pounded 14 hits good for nine RBIs and the 12runs. Lady Wildcat Lyndsey Boone pitched three innings, tossing three strikeouts. Darrien Christian came in as relief, tossing two strikeouts in one inning.
Taking the loss on the mound was Lady Tiger Josephine Satele. Lady Tiger Angie Jackson was 1 for 1 at bat and senior Tamia Johnson was 1 of 2.
On Wednesday, the Wildcats drove in five runs in the first, two in the second, seven in the third and six in the fourth for the shutout win at Lady Tiger field. Lady Wildcat Haley Taylor led Richmond Hill, going 4 of 5 with 4 RBIs.
Lady Tigers Whitney Evans and Tamia Johnson both were 1 of 2 at bat. Satele pitched the loss.
Bradwell plays St. Vincent’s away on Monday at 6:30 p.m. On Wednesday, the Lady Tigers play at Liberty County, making up a game that was rained out a few weeks ago. The game at Liberty starts at 5 p.m.
The Lady Tigers are 1-7 overall and 0-3 in region 2-(6)A.
