The Long County Sheriff's Office is implementing a curfew due to Hurricane Irma. A statement released by LCSO Sheriff Criag Nobles said a mandatory curfew will be implemented in Long County beginning at 6 p.m. Sunday Sept. 10, through noon Tuesday Sept. During this time the only persons that should be out and on the roads are law enforcement and public safety personnel.

The statement encouraged those staying home to remain indoors and away from the high winds and rain.
