A Midway man has grabbed a Georgia Lottery prize worth $100,000.

Steven Keller, a chemical operator, matched all five numbers from the Thursday Fantasy 5 drawing, winning the $100,000 jackpot prize.

Lake George Get ’N Go, 1604 Limerick Road in Midway, sold the winning Quik Pik ticket.

Keller, 58, discovered his windfall while checking the results on the Georgia Lottery’s website.

“I feel really good,” the lucky winner shared.

With his winnings, Keller and his wife, Annette, plan to pay off bills.

Winning numbers from the Aug. 27 Fantasy 5 drawing were: 1-11-14-33-39.

Since its first year, the Georgia Lottery Corp. has returned more than $16.5 billion to the state of Georgia for education. All Georgia Lottery profits go to pay for specific educational programs, including the HOPE Scholarship and Georgia Pre-K. More than 1.7 million students have received HOPE, and more than 1.4 million 4-year-olds have attended the statewide, voluntary prekindergarten program.
