A four-car accident around 7:30 a.m. Monday at the 600 block of West Oglethorpe Highway near Way Street tied up traffic for about an hour, according to Hinesville Police Department Lt. Scott Hensler.

There were a number of injuries. One person had to be flown by helicopter to Memorial Medical Center in Savannah, according to Hensler.
