The United Ministerial Alliance of Liberty County hosted a prayer rally for first responders on the steps of the historic Liberty County Courthouse Saturday morning.

Community members, pastors, members of law enforcement and firefighters came together to pray for the safety of the first responders and to show their appreciation.  A separate prayer was said for the different categories of first responders, such as the medical responders, which includes paramedics, hospital staffs and EMTs, firefighters, and law enforcement. Attendees also enjoyed some music and singing. For the closing prayer, attendees formed a circle and held hands together as they prayed for the overall support of first responders.
