A community forum featuring Riceboro mayoral and City Council candidates will take place from 5-7:30 p.m. Sunday at the Riceboro Youth Center, 17 E.B. Cooper Highway in Riceboro.

The forum will have two parts. City Council candidates will be featured first, from 5-6 p.m., followed by the mayoral forum, which will take about 90 minutes. They mayoral candidates will field seven panel questions and six audience questions.

The event is sponsored by the East Liberty County Citizens Forum and Liberty County Branch of the NAACP.

Early voting for municipal elections in Hinesville, Riceboro and Walthourville is taking place now through Friday, Oct. 30, at Liberty County Historic Courthouse, 100 N. Main St. in Hinesville, with the polls open from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays. Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 3, and all normal polling places in each city will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
