Barry McCaffrey Boulevard at Airport Road will be closed for seven days beginning Wednesday as part of widening work on Airport Road, the Georgia Department of Transportation said Monday.

The road is being shut down while contractors rebuild and widen the intersection. The road should reopen August 11, according to GDOT.

Drivers needing access to Airport Road should use Stonehenge Drive or Crystal Lake Road.
