Liberty County Sheriff Steve Sikes said he was going to find those responsible for stealing from four churches.
Monday, Sikes himself put the handcuffs on those his department says is responsible for the burglaries.
Ramiek Young and Whitney Wilson were arrested after an investigation led detectives to a Huckleberry Lane address, where a search allegedly uncovered items taken from the churches. Liberty County Sheriff’s Office Detective Doug Snider said the items recovered included musical equipment, printers, a microwave oven and a pastor’s chair.
“Charges are pending and the investigation is ongoing,” Snider said Tuesday.
Anyone with information is asked to call LCSO Detective Tom Tucker at 912-876-4555.
