The BP Food Mart on Gen. Screven Way in Hinesville appears to be a hot spot for winning lottery tickets.
JaDawn Guyton of Hinesville, who bought his 10X The Money instant ticket there, claimed a $40,000 prize Tuesday in Savannah.
Ronald Wharton of Ludowici, who also bought a ticket at the same store, matched the first five winning numbers from the Jan. 4 Mega Millions drawing and pocketed a $250,000 prize.
“We’re doing great over here,” store owner Rock Patel said. “Pretty much the whole town knows — that’s why they keep coming back.”
