Editor's note: This article has been revised to reflect the following correction, which will appear in Wednesday's print edition. Samantha Lake is one of the artists whose work is part of the “Web of Life” exhibit this month at the Hinesville Area Arts Council gallery. The name was incorrectly listed as Steve Lake in an article on page 9A Sunday. The Coastal Courier regrets the error.

The “Web of Life” mixed media exhibit went on display Tuesday in the Hinesville Area Art Council gallery, and a community reception was held Thursday evening.

Artwork by Marjett Schille, Candy Schille, Judy Hughes, Marquita “Kita” Macon, Jeannine Cook, Mike Lewis, Elizabeth Lake and Samantha Lake makes up the exhibit. The exhibit is designed to show many aspects of life, such as nature, family, spirituality, traditions and history, as well as connections with the past, present and future.

The exhibit will remain on display at the gallery through Nov. 24. For more information, go to www.hinesvillearts.com or go to the council's Facebook page.
