The Long County Commission agreed to sign a letter of support for Georgia House Bill 1, a state level pro-life proposal, at its Feb. 2 meeting. The vote was 3-2. Later in the meeting, the commission bought land for a new fire sub-station on Alma Flournoy Road. For more details on the meeting, pickup a copy of Friday’s Coastal Courier.
