Long County Schools to close due to Hurricane Dorian

Due to the possibility of extreme weather conditions associated with Hurricane Dorian, the Long County School System will be closed for both staff and students Tuesday, September 3,  through Thursday, September 5. This cancellation includes all athletic and after school activities. Staff and students should plan to report back to work and school on Friday, September 6,  unless notified otherwise. The latest information will be communicated through the district automated phone alert system, district website, and LCSS Facebook pages.
