The Liberty County Chamber of Commerce had a grand opening and ribbon cutting on Friday for Liberty Cardiology Associates at 600 East Oglethorpe Highway in Hinesville.

Dr. Gary Elkin’s practice focuses on the care of patients with heart disease requiring medical and/or surgical interventions.
“Heart disease is our nation’s No. 1 cause of death, Liberty Regional Medical Center CEO Mike Hester said. “It is now possible for us to better achieve our goal of preventing and treating heart disease by providing our community with the resources necessary to achieve the best health outcomes possible.”
