Man shot in Long County

A Long County man is in critical condition after being shot in the stomach on Sunday.

According to Long County Sherriff's Department Det. Nicky Anderson at around 7 p.m. Sunday, a Long County man was shot in the abdomen.

According to Anderson, Aarron Williams and Kenneth Hill were walking on Time Saver Road in the Sand Hill area of the county when two men walked passed them on the other side of the road.

According to Hill, two shots were fired by the men, one striking Williams.

Deputies and Long County EMS responded immediately.

Williams was taken to Memorial University Medical Center in Savannah.

At last report, he was listed in critical condition.
