A Liberty County man was shot and wounded at a mobile home park in the unincorporated area of Liberty County Friday afternoon, Jan. 21, 2022.
According to Liberty County Sheriff's Office, Patrol Commander, Capt. Dennis Poulsen, the man was discovered by deputies shortly after1 p.m. when they responded to a call of shots fired at the Victory Manor Mobile Home Park on the 400 block of Ruben Wells road.
The man was transported to Members Health University Medical Center in Savannah with several gunshot wounds.

Poulsen said a person of interest has been detained following a brief foot chase inside the mobile park.
