The City of Hinesville will be hosting the Mayor’s 20th annual Service of Songs, Prayer and Thanksgiving on Sunday, Nov. 20 at 6 p.m. at Cathedral of Praise, located at 406 South Main Street in Downtown Hinesville.
“This treasured event is an annual tradition bringing the people of Hinesville together with community leaders to unite for an evening of reflection, prayer, and thankfulness for the blessings we share,” said Mayor Allen Brown. “It is my honor to be able to personally invite each and every member of the Hinesville community to join us for a time of inspiration.”
This year’s featured speakers include State Rep. Al Williams, Fort Stewart Garrison Commander Col. Manuel Ramirez, Liberty County Board of Commissioners Chairman Donald Lovette, and others from the local level, as well as several members of the Hinesville faith community.
All offerings given during the program will benefit the United Way of the Coastal Empire — Liberty County.
“By joining us at this special event, you will be taking part in an opportunity to strengthen the fabric that binds us together through prayer and through the giving of any amount you are able to help improve the lives in our community,” Brown said.
This event is free and open to the public. More information may be found on the City’s Facebook page (facebook.com/ HinesvilleGA).
