Pamela B. Patterson of Richmond Hill has received the National Guard Family Readiness and Support Award for her support to the foundation in fiscal year 2011-12.
During that time, her volunteer work led to increasing annual contributions to the Georgia Family Readiness Foundation.
The foundation assists Georgia guardsmen and their families through financial grants and no-interest loans.
Her efforts also assisted World War II veterans with round-trip transportation to Washington, D.C., to the World War II Memorial.
Patterson is the spouse of Chief Master Sergeant Roy Patterson of the 165th Airlift Wing.
