Col. David S. Lee, garrison commander of the Georgia Garrison Training Center, has been named national co-chairman for the Training Center Command Advisory Council during the Training Center University, which was held earlier this year in Reno, Nev.
The TCCAC advises and recommends to the chief, Army Training Division, National Guard Bureau, on all matters pertaining to the training center. Before he was named co-chairman, Lee served as the TCCAC Region III chairman.

It also was during the 2012 Training Center University that Lee was the keynote speaker for the Army National Guard Training Center Garrison Command Patching Ceremony. This ceremony is symbolic of all Garrison Training Centers throughout the country now being authorized to wear their own shoulder sleeve insignia (Distinctive Unit Insignia) and will be issued their own command flag.

Lee has been serving as the garrison commander at Georgia Garrison Training Center since July 2007. During his tenure there, he was the TCCAC Region II co-chairman, an instructor at the Training Center University, the chairman at Region III of TCCAC, dean of schools and Training Center University and currently is the national co-chairman of TCCAC.
