Report on Fort Stewart at chamber luncheon

Col. Townley Hedrick, Fort Stewart garrison commander, will speak at the Liberty County Chamber of Commerce Progress Through People Luncheon at noon on May 25.

It will be at the Liberty County Performing Arts Center, 2140 E. Oglethorpe Highway, Flemington. The event will be sponsored by GeoVista Credit Union.

Hedrick will provide a year-in-review of the Fort Stewart installation and its community.

It will cost $15 for chamber members and $20 for others. RSVP by May 23, by calling 912-368-4445 or emailing operations@libertycounty.org.
